What helps when you call.
- Which fixture or part of the houseA slow kitchen sink, a toilet that runs, a water heater with no hot water, or a lawn that is soggy in a line to the street. The location tells the office what to send.
- How long it has been happeningWhether it started this morning or has been getting worse for weeks, and whether more than one drain is involved and which one backs up first.
- Whether the water is shut offIf a pipe is leaking, tell us if you have turned the water off at the main and whether it is holding. If you cannot find the shutoff, say so.
- Photos, if the office asks for themA picture of the water heater label, the leak or the cleanout can save a trip. Have your phone nearby, but you do not need to send anything first.
- The address and the best number to call backWe serve Washington and Benton counties, so the town helps the office find the right opening on the schedule.
- For a septic inspection, your closing dateLenders usually want the inspection before closing, so the date tells us how soon it is needed.
Quick answers
Questions people ask first.
Often, yes. We run a sewer camera through the line first to find the exact spot and cause. From there it is a spot repair, trenchless pipe lining (CIPP), pipe bursting or a full line replacement, depending on the damage, the depth and how much of the line is affected. A spot repair or lining can often be done in a single day; a full replacement may take one to two.
Yes. Most banks and lenders want a complete septic inspection before closing, and we provide licensed inspections with a quick turnaround. We also install and repair septic systems to county and state codes, including lift stations, risers, baffles, distribution boxes and the lines between them.
If the tank is under about 8 to 10 years old, the tank body is not rusting or leaking, and one part has failed (an element, a thermostat, a valve), repair usually makes sense. Once a tank is 10 to 15 years old with several symptoms, or the repair would cost close to half of a new installed unit, replacement is usually the better money. Northwest Arkansas hard water shortens tank life, so we will tell you honestly which side you are on.
