Drain cleaning
Drain cleaning that finds the clog, then the cause
Sinks, tubs, floor drains and main lines cleared with a cable machine, and a sewer camera when the same line keeps backing up.
Chapter 01
One slow drain, or the whole house backing up
A single slow fixture is usually a local problem. Hair in a tub drain, a kitchen sink packed with grease, a lavatory trap that has been collecting for years. The clog sits close to the fixture and a cable machine reaches it quickly.
When several drains slow down together, or the lowest drain in the house (a basement floor drain, a first-floor tub) is the first to back up, the clog is not in the fixture at all. It is in the main line, somewhere between your foundation and the street. That is a different job with a different tool, and it is worth knowing which one you have before anyone starts cutting.
We clear drains for homes and businesses in Springdale, Fayetteville, Rogers, Bentonville and the towns around them. If you are not sure which kind of clog you are looking at, call (479) 790-3527 and tell the office which drains are slow and in what order they started.

Cable machine first, camera when it keeps coming back
Most clogs are cleared with a drum cable machine run through the fixture or, better, through a cleanout in the yard. A cleanout lets the cable go straight into the main line instead of fighting through every trap and elbow in the house. If your home has one, we will use it. If it does not, we can talk about adding one, because it makes every future clearing cleaner and cheaper to do.
When a line clogs, gets cleared and clogs again, we stop clearing and start looking. A sewer camera shows what the cable cannot: tree roots working into a joint, a belly where the pipe has sagged and holds water, a cracked or offset section, or old clay and cast iron flaking away from the inside. Seeing the cause means you are deciding on facts, not on a guess.
Grease-packed lines are a different animal. They often need more than a cable, and hydro jetting is one of the tools for scouring a line wall to wall. We will tell you at the estimate which approach fits the line in front of us.
Chapter 03
Keeping the line clear afterward
Most repeat clogs have a short list of causes. Cooking grease poured down the kitchen sink. Wipes labeled flushable that are not. Paper towels, hair, and the sediment that comes off an aging pipe. Chemical drain cleaners sit in the line and eat at older pipe along with the clog, which is a poor trade on a house with clay or cast iron under the yard.
If a drain keeps backing up even after it has been cleared properly, the pipe itself is the problem and no amount of cabling will fix it. That is when we move the conversation to sewer line repair, where the camera has already shown us what we are dealing with.

Ten lines we clear
From a bathroom sink to the main sewer.
Residential and commercial. If water goes down it and does not come back up, we clear it. The machine depends on the pipe: a small cable for a lavatory trap, a heavier one for a main line running to the street.

Inside the house
- Kitchen sink drains
- Lavatory sink drains
- Tub and shower drains
- Laundry drain lines
- Basement floor drains
Outside and the main lines
- Main sanitary sewer
- Main storm sewer
- Driveway drain lines
- Downspout drain lines
- Yard drain lines
When clearing is not enough
A clog that returns is telling you something about the pipe.
Older homes in Fayetteville and Rogers often have clay, cast iron or Orangeburg lines under the yard, and roots find every joint in them. Once the camera shows a failing section, the honest answer is a repair, not another visit with the cable. Read about sewer line repair, or look at what a leak behind the wall might be doing under leak detection.
